(Read) To Start Attracting You Need to Stop Repelling

That’s it, right there…

? If you want to get more leads, make more sales and enrol more team members on social media… you first need to stop shouting about your products, services or opportunity!

It sounds counter intuitive doesn’t it?

And I totally know what you mean.

You have something you LOVE… and you think everyone else should love it too…

Right?

❌ WRONG.

Nobody cares about your products…

…and nobody wants to join your opportunity.

Well, they do…

But first they’ve got to get to KNOW, LIKE AND TRUST you.

AND… they’ve got to see how what you’re offering can benefit them and help solve their pains, problems or challenges.

And that won’t happen if you’re constantly shouting about how great your product or business is!

Because that will just turn them off immediately.

See, when I first started online I used to constantly talk about how great my business was.

I would post links on my profiles…

I would post testimonials everywhere…

I would rave about how much I loved my products…

I would post about my company having the best comp plan…

And I would message and send my link to as many people as I could.

But…

Do you know what the result was after doing that for 6 months?

ONE SINGLE SALE.

From a random person, who I didn’t know… who stayed with me for about 20 days, then asked for a refund and vanished into thin air.

That was it!

At the end of all that promoting…

Essentially, I’d:

  • Annoyed my friends and family
  • Aggravated my followers
  • Got in trouble for spam from Facebook
  • And wasted 6 months of my life

And to make things worse…

  • My audience hadn’t grown…
  • I’d gained very few quality leads…
  • Most people had tuned out my posts and were scrolling right past them…
  • My social media was either filled with comments from freebie seekers and other people looking for get rich quick schemes…
  • Or my posts had no engagement on them… other from a few of the usual suspects.

And to be honest, I didn’t know what to do to fix it!

I mean, my company was telling me to talk to everyone I could about my opportunity and products…

And my upline was telling me to post all over social media about it.

But that wasn’t working…

Rather than attracting people to me, I seemed to be repelling them and pushing them away from me which was the total opposite to what I wanted.

And I was almost ready to give up. ?

The Turning Point

So, the turning point for me was studying what the top online network marketers were doing…

And how they were selling and sponsoring.

They weren’t talking about their products all over social media…

They weren’t shouting about how amazing their business opportunity was.

And they weren’t constantly promoting the next best thing.

Heck…

I couldn’t even tell what their opportunity was!

Which actually got me curious…

Hmmm…

That made me think.

So I started watching… and started studying.

They seemed to be posting content that got people excited.

They seemed to have hundreds of people engaging with their posts.

They seemed to be hitting various leaderboards.

And they seemed to be generating quality leads, enrolling serious business builders and selling lots of products.

It was at that point I noticed…

They Were Branding Themselves

They were attracting people to them by being real, open, honest and authentic, and by sharing their own stories and experiences.

They weren’t trying to convince people to buy stuff they didn’t need…

Or join something they didn’t want.

✅ They were building an audience of raving fans by giving people exactly what they wanted.
✅ They were solving problems.
✅ They were providing solutions..
✅ And they seemed to be getting paid a lot by doing so!

The problem was…

I didn’t know how to do it myself…

And I still didn’t know how they were signing people up into their businesses…

And selling thousands of $$ of products.

So…

That set me off on my next mission:

I wanted to find out how they were actually making sales and getting new signups.

So, I joined one of the top leaders in one of the top opportunities at the time and found out exactly what they were doing and how they were doing it ?

BOOM!

Everything changed.
