Area #1: Prospecting

The first area is prospecting.

This is where you connect with people in your target audience and build relationships with them.

It’s all about building your audience, attracting leads, and converting those leads into sales and sign-ups.

These are your income-producing activities such as inviting, presenting and closing.

To make the most of prospecting, you should spend around 40% of your total time each week on it.

If you have 15 hours to work on your business, you should spend around 6 hours prospecting.

Area #2: Maintenance Content

The second area is your maintenance content.

This includes your social media posts, emails, videos, and live streams, and it’s designed to engage and nurture your audience.

Most people waste far too much time creating content that doesn’t actually achieve anything.

Maintenance content is different from your sales system and will help you build the know, like, and trust factor with your audience, which then helps with your prospecting later.

You should only spend around 15% of your total time each week on free content creation.

If you have 15 hours to work on your business, you should spend around 2 and a half hours creating and posting content.

Area #3: Sales System

The third area is your sales system.

This is your leveraged sales process that allows you to communicate and sell to many people at once.

Components of a successful sales system include:

  • Lead magnet
  • Free experience (such as a challenge, mini-course, etc.)
  • Webinar
  • Strategy session
  • Sales page
  • A Google doc with your irresistible offer

When this is set up, it will help you save so much time in your business.

You should aim to spend around 30% of your total time each week building your sales system.

If you have 15 hours to work on your business, you should spend around 4 and a half hours building your sales system.

Alternatively, you could outsource this task to someone else.

Area #4: Support and Fulfillment

The fourth and final area is support and fulfillment.

As you start to get more customers and team members, you’ll need to support them.

Support & Fulfillment tasks include:

  • Registering new customers and team members
  • Guiding their initial steps
  • Delivering products
  • Developing member training materials
  • Organizing team calls
  • Conducting coaching calls
  • Providing ongoing support

You should aim to spend around 15% of your total time each week on support and fulfillment.

If you have 15 hours to work on your business, you should spend around 2 and a half hours on this.

It’s important to create systems in your business to automate as much of these processes as you can, so you can spend more time on your income-producing activities such as prospecting.
